Our Teams play in the Whitehorse Netball Association with matches at Sportlink, 2 Hanover Road, Vermont South.
This is where it all starts. Our very successful Auskick Program is run by parents who have obtained AFL Auskick training certification. Boys and girls from Prep to Grade 3 can learn the skills of football in a safe environment. In 2014 we won 'Auskick Centre of the Year' central region. Our weekly Auskick program is held at our home ground from April through August.
The program for 2017 is underway having commenced on 23 April.
Welcome to your Community Club
The Whitehorse Colts Junior Football and Netball Club sponsors a strong Auskick program, fields boys and girls junior football teams in the Yarra Junior Football League, has junior netballers in the Whitehorse Netball Association and supports a senior women's football team in the Northern Football League. Our home ground is situated at Springfield Park, Box Hill North.
Our Club prides itself on creating an inclusive family environment where children can participate in improving their fitness and ball skills and learn what it means to be part of a team. We've got a long term view. With the establishment of the Senior Womens Team we have a pathway for our girls to continue their football careers into adulthood and our long standing links with the Whitehorse Pioneers in the Eastern Football League provide a pathway to senior football for our boys.
Our numbers continue to grow. Get involved. You'll love it!
Players still wanted in 2017 for U13 Girls, U15 Boys and U16 Boys (Colts)
After a successful 2015 our Women's Team moved up to second division in the Victorian Women's Football League and proved very competitive. In 2016 the team played in Division 1.
2017 sees the wind-up of the VWFL in favour of community leagues and Whitehorse Senior Women will field two teams playing in Division 1 and Division 2 of the Northern Football League (NFL) . NFL will have the premier community league so the competition will be fierce.
Come and join a great club and see how far you can go in your football career.
